Those who get 60% or above in Paper 1 are eligible to teach classes I to V, and qualifying Paper 2 makes one eligible to teach classes VI to VIII.

Over 16 lakh candidates give CTET 2018:
As per reports, this year, in total 16, 91,088 candidates gave the CTET.
Further, out of the total number of candidates, 58 per cent candidates were female applicants, 199 were transgender and 33,107-differently abled students.

CTET Result – Minimum Pass Mark:
Candidate who scores 60% (ie., 90 marks out of total 150 marks) or more in the CTET Paper I, Paper II exam will be considered as CTET pass. However candidates have to secure minimum cut off marks as decided by CBSE. This CTET Cut off marks may vary according to various category.
